Our story.

CivicConsulting started fifteen years ago for a simple reason. Government was moving slowly on the things that mattered most, and the advice it was buying too often stopped at the edge of delivery — a strategy, a report, a recommendation, and then someone else's problem.

We wanted to work the other way around. Start with what actually needs to happen, get in alongside the people who have to make it happen, and stay until it's done. That has meant property portfolios and capital works, procurement and contracts, digital and payments transitions, and more than a few programmes that needed turning around before they could move at all.

Fifteen years on, that's still the whole idea. Fresh thinking where it's needed, plain speaking throughout, and a bias towards finishing things.

CivicConsulting works with a range of specialists and partners with different organisations to ensure we can deliver to programmes. We have a wide network of consultants and delivery practitioners we bring in when a programme needs more hands.

In many cases, we effectively become an extension of our clients' team, acting as their project delivery partner or strategic advisor where additional capacity, capability, or senior expertise is required. We agree scope, expectations, and cost up front, so everything is clear from the start.
